I'm not really into online games but I do download an awful lot of stuff from the internet.

When I heard that ADSL was going to revolutionise the way I use the internet I couldn't wait to get hooked up.

 Well it turns out that where I live is not going to be getting it for a very long time even though areas close by already have.

Time to look into an alternative solution. That solution for the time being is satellite. As I said before gaming is not important so the delay associated with the satellite link is not a problem.

So far (just over a day) I am very impressed with the service all I need to do now is get the home network sharing the satellite downloads which is proving a bit complicated.

That aside though going from dial up download speeds to this is quite pleasing :D

So how did the install go? Did they get it in nice and quickly? Can you upgrade to any faster speeds? Is it two way? How much does it cost? What satellite does it use? Lots of questions, I am jealous :D
