i have about $120 to spend on a new video card
cuz i am getting sick of not being able to play quake 3 on this diamond monster fusion
so what video card has the most bang for the buck

ATI has brainwashed me. I as usual am going to have to say 32mb Radeon DDR. It can be had for less than 100$ and is really a decent card. Clock her to 191/191 and dont look back. Killer dvd playback and very respectable FPS you cant really go wrong. Smokes in 32bit color. Now i know theres going to be a few who say Mx ot Gts is the only way to go,

Jim its up to you. I think the Radeon, Mx,GTS are all solid preformers. I dont think youd be dissapointed if you picked any 1 of those 3.

bang for the buck? im going to have to say Mx or Radeon. Lets see what the others have to say.

I think you should be able to get a GeForce 2 GTS card for that.... they're pretty cheap now. Check PriceWatch and you should be able to find an OEM or off brand GTS. Best card for the cash right now IMHO.

how is overclocking the radeon is it easy?

everybody else is overclocking the 3d prophet 2 MX andy good??
these are the two i am stuck on

If your stuck on Radeon vs. Mx then choose radeon hands down. But if the GTS is cheap enough (sorry i dont follow the geforce line of cards) id say its a close call between radeon and GTS.

Yes, theres nothing really to overclocking a radeon other than sliding a tab. Just use common sence. dont go 148/148 to 191/191 in 1 step. If you take it slow and use proper cooling, nothing can go wrong. Either the Radeon or GTS are superior cards. I most likely wouldnt be able to tell the difference but i chose the radeon because it has very nice video playback. Its up to you Jim. I know people have been clocking the Mx like crazy but i still dont think it even compares to the Radeon. Now GTS that may be a different story.....Of course im pretty sure the radeon LE can be had for arounf 75-85$.

if that's what u say about the radeon and the MX then i will get the radeon
so i should get the
Radeon Le 32mb DDR

right??
cuz i cant get the GTS so i guess i willl get this one
