I want to sell my computer so can you guys suggest a reasonable price to sell it for?

my specs are in sig
plus a 19 inch CRT monitor - samsung 950P
Logitech keyboard
Logitech MX510 mouse

Canadian dollars please

PS i want to sell it so i can buy a laptop

didnt think it would be that low. AT LEAST 900-1000 is what im thinking. I got the whole thing for ~1700 in february this year.

You built the system prior to the major hardware market upset known as.. Core 2 Duo.. aka.. your system isnt worth half of what it once was worth.

Yep, unfortunately that's the way things go. I lost a lot of money on my killer Opty 165 system, which altogether I paid like $4800 (with 24" LCD and everything else) and got like ~$3200 only 6-7 months later. It really sucked...but that's the way these things go.

I'd agree with the $600 CAD, maybe $625

I'd say part it out in the classifieds, you might do better. (Although I think you have a few more posts before you can access the classifieds section. Then you have to make sure you have a good email address (like from your ISP, not gmail or other freebies)

Id say keep it.. if you plan to sell it to go core 2 duo anyways.. I mean.. that system will do anything core 2 duo can do.. just a second or so slower.. id wait until intel/AMD releases their new stuff next year.

thnx for replies guys

^^^^ so you are sayin i should keep this desktop for now and get a laptop later.

What sort of laptop.. Because you wont be able to get one that can perform nearly as good as your desktop if you only use the money obtained froms elling the desktop
