I have the above mentioned mobo, but due to an unfortunate incedent with some water, my beloved PII 233 has sadly taken an early retirement. The mobo supports up to a 5x multiplier with switches on the mobo9, but I would like to know if it supports maybe a Celron 600 since Cele's are multiplier locked and so it would run on my mobo, right??
Thanks
Andre

they will. or just invest in a cheap ppga board. i got a great DFI board for 145can with tons of options

For a processor to run properly on a MB, the bios needs to be able to recognize the requirements for that cpu. If there isn't a bios update that will recognize your cpu, it's a major crapshoot whether it will be able to run it or not. Assuming it will work because it's multiplier locked, instead of doing a little research is not a wise course of action in most cases.
