What do you think of this design. I'm sure this style has been talked about before, but it's been on my mind. I'll try to explain how I want to set it up.
I want to build a custom plexi case for the visual effect of it all and the room. I want the cool rad. (blue) and fans mounted on the side as it faces you. That side will be a swing door. I want to duct those cool fans out, (I may leave it as case intake fans) just above, through the door. (so it all swings open together) I want the hot rad. (red) and fans mounted to the underside of the top to exhaust the case air and rad. air out. (other case cooling fans not shown) I'm not sure if I'll use a reservoir.
Your opinions will be appreciated. Thanks.

looks cool - just get a good pump to overcome the resistance of two radiators/heater cores.

bleed it before u put it in there...or just put the red radiator on top of the blue on and just have an air trap at the top
 
pick your case up

and put it on:

a) it's side
b) it's ***
c) it's top (upside down)

You need to have a bleeder pipe higher in the
system than anything else.

Also, depending on the radiator, for a given orientation
you might not be able to get the air out. It could get
trapped even with a bleeder in the system.

That is what experimenting is all about. :D
 
I was thinking, if I bleed the system like this before it goes into the computer. (while I'm checking for leaks) Shaking the rads to get the air out. Keeping the ends under water will keep it a closed system, always pulling in water to replace the air.
What do you think?
 
Without having the outlet of the radiator at the high
point, air could still be trapped. There'd have to be
a whole lotta shaken goin on.

Check some of the older threads with the search
engine. There might be some good suggestions.

I never liked the bucket of water deal.
