If its socket 754, then yes, it is locked AFAIK. Only Socket 940 and 939 CPUs are unlocked I think. The AMD 64FXs.

there is also Clock Gen, this one is for the k8v, im not sure if it will work on yours or not but its work a try(you said yours was the K8v*se*
so if anyone reads this post dont download this as a generic prog, its only for asus k8v(although i think that the multiplier thing works on any A64, the Htt, and AGP speed wont
