A7A Question.... about 4 Dsw boards

OK... here is my question.. IF I unlock a duron or tbird on a 4 dipswitch A7A will the bios allow me to switch the multiplier without making the mod to the board? or must I make the mod first?

you have to make a mod.... Even when you unlock the CPU it won't unlock the multipliers... Don't worry about the mod.. It is easy, and if done correctly nothing bad should happen to you.. Many people have done it.. I will probably also do it very soon...

yea I was just curious.. I already did the mod.. and for some reason whenever I overclock now it does that invalid disk crap... before the mod even when the cpu wasnt unlocked it allowed me to OC my 700 at 126/126 @ 881 Mhz stable as can be.. but now.. if I try that it F***s everything up and results in a reformat of my drive >_< it pisses me off
