Ive been reading about people unlocking the bios multiplier setting of the A7A by just turning on the #10 dip switch on. It doesnt work for me. The only way I can change my mutipliers is with the switches themselves no matter what bios I try. I have the newer 10 dip switch board. Is it that some boards do and some dont or am I just missing something????

Same here, I can only set Multiplier in Jumper Mode, which doesnt let me change voltage or FSB (well, not more tnan 133mhz anyway). I still opted for multiplier OC'ing because it gives me better speeds over fsb-only OC'ing. But I am hoping this 1006 bios thats coming out will solve this problem... The multiplier should be adjustable from cmos :p

UNiVERSE ELECTRiC. You can still change your FSB and use the dips also. After you have your multipliers set with your dips boot up your computer and check your mhz to see if your mutlipiers are right. Then shut it back down and move the jumper back to jumper free mode. After that you should be able to change your FSB and power settings in the bios and be at the multiplier you want also. Also bios 1006 beta hasnt helped with the bios multiplier problem, for me anyway?

i have a A7V old baord.... in order to work my multipliersi gota fip 2 dip swithes ON....i think its DSWID or something...then after i can adjust voltage with bios or jumper and fsb bios or dipswitch up to 110FSB hehe check that out its probly writen on the board mine wasnt very close teh dipswithces but asus never puts anything close...my multiplier table is acutally farther away then this dswid is... good luck :)
