I just got my asus a7m266, and my 1.4 amd (200) , and im using mushkins new 2400 DDR ram, and when I boot up it tells me my ram is only running @ 1600 (100 clock I assume) in my older asus boards you can set the clock on the ram seperate from the main clock, is there a way to get my clock on my ram up 2 300 like it can handle with my 1.4 clock still @ 100?

There's no way to up the mem speed without upping the cpu's fsb as far as I know. If you up the speed of the ram, the fsb will increase and the speed of the cpu will too. Make sure you have good cooling for the T-Bird if ou decide to move up the mem speed.

Good luck =]
