Is there a way to use a CD to flash the bios? I would like to run my comp floppy less, as the bios is the only reason i use it.

If not ill just flash the bios and then take the floppy out.

I'm sure sure about the CD flash, but I've upgraded the BIOS through ASUSUpdate, a nice windows upgrade utility you can get from asus... might consider going that route...

Yes you can, its called ASUSupdate. It has worked great for me. You can either download and run the bios file through the program, or you can download a bios to a file and load it that way also.

Yes you can update using a CD, However you cannot save the old bios file as the flash program would have to be able to write to the CD.
