i was running a amd 2100 at 1700mhz on a asus a7v333-x mobo and i just installed the same amd 2100 on a a7n8x-deluxe mobo with some corsair xms 512kb pc-3200 ram and my system info says im running a amd 1500 at 1300mhz is there something in the bios i need to change what do i need to do plz help

it is the FSB setting - before it was 133MHz, for some reason the new board is recognizing it as 100MHz - - - here is the math to explain it: if the fsb is 133: 133 x 13 = 1729MHz; if the fsb is 100, then it is this: 100x 13 = 1300 - - - just change the FSB to 133, or higher, if you so desire.

I believe Dreammmatt hit it on the head, look for the default fsb jumper on your motherboard or in the Bios depending on the setup. That should take care of your problem.
