A7N8XD and SATA

First off i read these forums EVERY day. A wealth of know how here. So I must say I am sorry for my first post to be when I need help.
Here is the problem.
I have a rev. 2 A7N8XD and a WD Raptor HD. Windows wont let me insatall, says no mass storage device. My HD is being seen when the comp boots. I know I need a driver for the SATA. Could someone tell me file name and where to get? Or, if I am all wrong here point me in the right direction. Thank You in advance!!

I wasn't aware they have a A7N8XD motherboard, Do you mean a A7N8X-Deluxe? Either way, http://www.asus.com/support/download/download2.aspx?item=A7N8X&type=like&file_type=Drivers.

Select the model you have, download the appropriate sata driver, copy it to a floppy and start the xp installation. When asked, hit the F6 key in order to specify a 3rd party storage driver. The rest is self-explanatory. Good luck.

i think you have to change it to boot of off scsi if i'm not mistaken.
