A7V8X and Radion 9700 PRO

Just to let ya know I replaced my G4 4600 ti tonight. With the new card using the new 8x AGP. No problems whatsoever. I uninstalled the Nvidia driver shut down the PC put in the New card fired right up. Installing new catalyst drivers from ATI benches are in the 14,100 range in 3dmark. Not even a hiccup with the installation.

My 9700 pro is working fine in my a7v8x as well. But then again it also works fine with agp 8x on my msi kt4 ultra.

heh, I'd like to see someone get it running on an A7N8X...

I did the same on Saturday, but my bench was only 12,888. I had to undo my FSB overclock to get it stable. I'll be replacing my AMD 2000+ soon with a 2200+ and giving the other to my dad.. then I'll tinker with OCing again and see what I can get out of it.

But aside from having to reset the FSB it went very smooth.
