I friend of mine gave me his old diamond monster 3d 2...hed didnt need it so he said i could have it..well i brought it home threw in and cupled it with my voodoo 3 2000...started pc up windows found teh card asked for drivers..told it where they are and then it found them and installed them and then restarted pc..came back fine.....then i right clicked to goto desktop properties and it says "Diamond Monster II Not Found." Im like Dang it! so i rightclick my computer properties device manger and its there under sound and video...but windows still says it cant find it...so crap!

My sys specs as of right now:
Athlon 550
Voodoo3 2000
soundblaster 16 ( i know crappy)
192 meg ram
Win 98

So whats wrong?
I tried to call tech support but....couldnt figur out what the heck they were saying..then went to website www.diamondmm.com and found nothing there about the monster 3d 2 at all....so..

Check your BIOS under "Plug and Play OS Enabled". Whatever setting it's on, switch it off. If that doesn't work, change it back and try it again.

This is a bit of Windows witchcraft, but sometimes it works.

Also, is your BIOS set on PCI/AGP priority or AGP/PCI priority? The system can see the other Voodoo card OK, right?
