aahh.."Diamond Monster 3d 2" cannot be found...why the **** not?

I friend of mine gave me his old diamond monster 3d 2...hed didnt need it so he said i could have it..well i brought it home threw in and cupled it with my voodoo 3 2000...started pc up windows found teh card asked for drivers..told it where they are and then it found them and installed them and then restarted pc..came back fine.....then i right clicked to goto desktop properties and it says "Diamond Monster II Not Found." Im like Dang it! so i rightclick my computer properties device manger and its there under sound and video...but windows still says it cant find it...so crap!

My sys specs as of right now:
Athlon 550
SY-K7VIA
Voodoo3 2000
soundblaster 16 ( i know crappy)
192 meg ram
Win 98

So whats wrong?
I tried to call tech support but....couldnt figur out what the heck they were saying..then went to website www.diamondmm.com and found nothing there about the monster 3d 2 at all....so..

HELP ME PLEASE!!
 
Check your BIOS under "Plug and Play OS Enabled". Whatever setting it's on, switch it off. If that doesn't work, change it back and try it again.

This is a bit of Windows witchcraft, but sometimes it works.


Also, is your BIOS set on PCI/AGP priority or AGP/PCI priority? The system can see the other Voodoo card OK, right?
