shot in the dark but part of the internet so i figure i'm in the right spot.

my wife likes to watch those ****tty teen dramas on the abc channels and has resorted to watching them on my computer. normally its not a problem with FOX or CBS but for some reason if she watches something on ABC or ABC Family it royally ****s the computer up.

as in i have had to re install windows twice in the pastweek and a half because after i get everything close to the way it was she starts watching this crap and it all goes to hell again.

i asked her to stop untill i could get everything running as it should but then she didnt listen and i hate to resrot to the childish thing and block the site but thats what i just had to do. i came home and all sorts of services were shut off and all sorts of funky werid stuff that a scan is finding that wasnt there before i went to work this morning.

now i know that ABC used to have some 3rd party host their shows to stream and of all places it was located in china, and frankly after all the activity (not good activity) that has been happening lately and walling off china from places on the net i get the idea that might be part of it if they are still being run by a company from over there.

also as a side point why has adobe's website been down for the past few days?

The Adobe website works for me.

What you are explaining sounds like an infection. What are you using for a browser?

adobe's site is working now, it wasnt working all weekend, and i highly doubt its an infection after fully formatting and re partitioning both times

Well, simply using their website to view videos isn't going to slow everything down. That doesn't make any sense.
