Hi ya.
I got a Abit BE6-2 rev1.2 hpt370 UDMA100 non-raid
P3 700E cC0 stepping type@ 966mhz idle@ 30 degree celsius and full load @38- 39 degree celsius.
CL Annihilator2 GTS 32mb@ 220/365
Mushkin PC150 128MB ram
SB Live
Seagate Baracudda 10Gig/7.2rpm/512kb/8.0ms
If I leave the I/O voltage at default(3.50V) on this mobo at this speed, I loose everyting including all plug n play drivers and only the empty shell of Win98se left on desktop due to severe registry corrupt. This happens when cold starting my PC but not everytime.
If I bump up the I/O voltage by two notches up(3.80V), then I dont get severe wipe out registry corrupt. I just get minor registry corrupt sometimes and it is restorable without problems
The Vcore has been set @ 1.80V for 933mhz.
Here's what Im trying to do.. I want to get rid of this minor registry corrupt even.. I dont want to see it, hehe.. What is your recommendations those who are experienced or familiar with this mobo and my Hard drive? Do I need to change the V core and I/O voltage at different setting? or Is it my Hard drive can't handle it?.. Helppp...me......
