I can only go up tp 1.75 vcore on my BE6-II in the soft menu...is there a way to go higher? Do I need a bios update? TIA

AD,
use an fc-pga chip on a slocket and raise the voltage on the slocket and from that setting you should be able to raise the voltage by .20 volts.

So do jumper settings on the slotket override the soft fsb bios settings? What I mean is, if I put the jumper higher, am I fixed at that settting, or will my range of voltage selections in the bios be greater? Thanks -ad

Your range in the BIOS will go higher, setting the jumpers on the slocket higher.

I've got the jumpers on my slocket set at 1.9v, and the up to +10% in the BIOS (2.5, 5, 7.5, 10%) gives me settings of 1.9, 1.95, 2.0, 2.05, 2.1 w/out opening the case.

I've got a Soyo 6BA+III, but the BE6 will work the same.
