ABIT BF6??? Anyone has experience, getting one in little more than 3 hours and need help!!!

My brother is coming home from college tonight and is bringing me a ABIT BF6 and a ATA66 Fast trak RAID card. Does anyone have experience with any of these? Is the ABIT BF6 like the BE6? I need any infomation on the mobo. I need fsb options, (all) voltage, agp, memory, anything. I also need a bios update and manual. I am hoping to get my Celeron II 700 @ 877 to goto 950+ on this mobo. My old mobo was a p3v4x and it could only goto 83fb and then goto 100 not 80, 85, 90, 95. It would skip them. Go to;

www.abit-usa.com

click on motherboards in the upper left, and then BF6 in the middle of the page.

this takes you to the spec page for the BF6.

BTW....you should be able to download the manual there, as well. BIOS, too.

Search around the site, they usually put stuff like that in the "support" area, but there might be a link right from the BF6 page itself.

Another passing thought......

I seem to recall you have a pair of 10 gig hard drives, right?

If you have a drive that you aren't using right now, use it to set up the BF6 with, and do a fresh install of the OS on it. that way, if you run into problems of any kind, you can re-assemble your rig, and use your main drive.

Once you have everything good to go, do the thing w/ the main one.Swapping boards from under Windows can be done, but you run the very high risk of corrupting the registry.....

But you knew that, already, didn't you? =)
