hmm, they both overclock very well. i think the biggest diference between the two is price....and features.

The Max 2 has all the extra bells and whistles. If you don't need them, then go for the BH7. The BH7 is a great board for a great price. It all depends on what you need, and how much you want to spend.

I can get the BH-7 for $80 and IT7 for $110. Is extra $30 worth it? and are they perform exactly the same? Should I go with a newer abit?? I heard that there is a problem with BH-7 where the thing fall off the cooling

For the small difference in price go with the IT7. I have the same board and its been a dream to work with. Even if you have no need for the RAID it will allow you to grow some.

I agree, if you can get the Max 2 that cheap, then go with that.

I paid $165.00 for the Max 2 Ver. 2 at Newegg.com. Prices on that went down today to $152.00. It's a great board.

which will be the better for overclocking. I will use to overclock my P4 massively.

The Bh7 wins hands down with the 4 phase power. It adds to the stability of the system giving more consistent power all the way around especially if ur OCing.

now something is very hard for me to pick again.
if the amount like ~50$ difference then I have no hesitation of getting a BH-7 right away, but only for a small difference, I would have miss the IT7 Max 2 too
