I just bought an Abit board (IC7) and the Northbridge comes already with a Northbridge fan on it. My watercool setup had a Northbridge Waterblock in it, but I had to take it out because the Abit doesn't mount through the motherboard. It has 4 metal clips on the top of the board instead of 2 holes that go through. Has anybody found a way to get the Danger Den Northbridge waterblock on it? Z-chip I believe is the block. Has the lucite top.

You'd probably have to go with some kind of custom bent-wire similar to what held the heatsink on.

I could also picture a bracket that has little "hooks" to hook on to those loop clips.

Could you guys tell me what the temperatures of ur northbridge are when you have watercooling in? I am thinking about getting a watercooling system. Do you know ur idle and load temps? it would be very helpful.

- MMC Thanks

I have an Abit It7 max2v2 that the northbride is about to melt and I also would like to get a watercooling block but don't know if anyone has succesfully mounted a block with the wire type clip? Hope someone can help?!!!:)

I'd like to see a small light WB with a thin channel cut in the top specifically for this. I don't like the idea of permanently affixing the WB to the NB with epoxy, either. And, on all the newer northbridges (i845 - i875) there really isn't much to glue on to.

i go an Abit BH7 and a NB wc on it way along with a cpu / vid crd -i will see if i can figure something out on mine if that is the case and if so take some pics! should be here this week.
