A while back I caught the overclocking bug big time. I built a system with a 300A, was first on the block with an Alpha cooler, OCed to 505, but throttled down to 450 for quite a while, experimented with Peltiers, etc. Had to join Overclockers Anonomous to keep my obsession under control. Anyhow, I don't mean to sound like a newbie, but I was just wondering if there are any new CPUs which I can still use on my Abit board or should I look to something new that will give me a big bang for the buck like my little celery chip did with the BX6 combo. Comments/recommendations?

i'm using this babe w/cele2-566 cBo @ 875x1.8v w/Gorb. But you must flash the latest bios w/'QR' ending right down bottom of your boot-up screen. It's the last line u'd see. Then, it'll support voltage lesser than 1.7v n when ur ready to fly, just run the Rise of Abit program to pump the voltages whatever u want! I'll be glad to mail if you need so.BTW, max it'll support is not more than cele2/PIII700. And remember to get either Abit/MSI or Iwill sloket coz' their the best!

this board supports up to celery 700's? (with a bit tweaking) i'm planning on upgrading from a 466@525 - the abit page only says it supports up to 600s... you got a way to get around that?

I also have the same motherboard. Right now I am using a P3-500 (Katmai). Abit website says it supports up till a P3-700, but the multiplier setting in the Softmenu goes up to 9. I am contemplating getting a P3-850 as an upgrade. Wonder if it will work???

Does anyone know if using I can raise the voltage higher than the max setting in the BIOS by using a slotket? Which slotket is good for overclocking?
