did i miss something? when did we get a 10x multi?

Oldskool and I have E2180s and they have 10x. Maybe the .5 multi lilbuddy is seeing is an E8400 issue.

the e8500 is 9.5 or 8.5 what ever it is it has the .5 multiplyer

From reading around, appears the E8xxx series are the only ones that can use the .5 multi. Also even though the board says that E8400 can boot with a 9.5 multi, once you get into Windows you'll see its really only 9.0 multi.

How do you update to this bios? I tried copying the files to a CD-R but it wont boot from it... I'm new to Abit boards and I don't have a floppy. Would someone mind breaking it down for me

i knew i was missing something.

edit: i was able to update it using a usb flash card. worked like a charm. now if only they could fix that stupid double boot i would be an extremely happy man.
