for those who don't know what to buy buy a abit i am very happy with this board duron 750 @ 7.5x133=1000Mhz as you can see the fsb is 133Mhz that's good but i also had a msi mobo with wich i couldn't go higher than105 with the same cards on board so that is large difference!

4th succesfull oclock!

Hey cyrex...which Abit mobo? I just bought a Duron 750 and I'm heavily leaning towards the KT7A or KT7A-Raid. Is that what your using? Man-o-Man I hope I get a good chip. A gig out of a 750 would make me a very happy boy. Congrats' on the successful clock, er' bus, er' whatever :)

I've got a Abit KT7E mobo wich is an very good board and very good for overclocking i am having some problems thought i need more voltage at 1000Mhz because it runs good on 933 but on 1gig when i set the voltage one bit lower it hangs so that is absolute a too low voltage prob!

Yeah go for the abit kt7a i've bought this one because it was the cheapest mobo from abit but i think that the a version is better

Cyrex...

after my experiences the abit kt7 boards are really unstable. Atleast the one i had abit kt7(not a version). Dunno what it was but with lots of stuff like tvtuners, dv cards it got really unstable. I got fed up with it crashing all the time so i bought the asus a7v133a and now everything works fine with the same stuff!! + i got a 100mhz increase in oc:) Also it seemed to run FASTER at the same speed i runned it on the abit mobo.

This is my experiences, maybe i just got a bad mobo?

Tomas...the original KT7 and KT7-Raid suffer from problems w/ the Via 133 chipset not fully supporting the 133Mhz bus. The newer "A" boards have the Via 133a chipset w/ has true support for the 133Mhz bus.
