I used too run my Slot A Athlon at 125+ Fsb. Now, after the update to the latest Bios, I can´t even get 115 stable, can anybody tell me why?
But on the other hand, the new Ram settings in Bios greatly increased my Ram performance, so I´am not too disappointed :)

Theere really is no actual explanation for this stuff. Its like video card drivers, some drivers work good for some people, and horrible for others. My suggestion to you is to just go back to the old BIOS.

You are going to have to do some testing to determine if the increased memory speed with the new bios offsets the loss of FSB speed. Do you have the ability to change the multipier to keep the cpu speed about the same? If so the new bios with faster ram speed may prove to be better. If not you can always revert back to the old bios.

Yes, I was able to obtain the same speed as before I used to run at 7.5 x125 and now I´m running at 9x105. I believe that my System is faster now, and even my 3DMarks don´t suffer from the new settings, so I think I´ll keep it. I just don´t understand why such things happen
