I have an Abit KT7a and a T-bird 800. My system consists of:

ABIT KT7a WW Bios
T-bird 800
Turtle beach sound card
ATI Rage XL AGP video card
Generic 56K modem
Quantum Atlas II 18Gb SCSI II hard drive
Adaptec 29160 SCSI card
Generic floppy
Global Win FOP38
Artic Silver thermal paste
256MB Micron PC133 CAS 2

My system will boot and run normal at 7.5*133 but crashes under Prime95. Also, any multiplier higher than 8.5 doesn't get reported correctly at POST, it reads as 8.5* the FSB.

Can anyone suggest how to get the 1Gig mark?

7.5x133 may be too much for your chip, as for the multipliers over 8.5 that may mean your chip isnt unlocked quite right, mine did this for a while when i set 9x i got 7x instead. Have you tried 7x133? that should work, you might try 7x140 and see if it works <thats 980>
