Thank u very much, i will try these, also i don't understand ZT ver of Bios. But i'll look at viahardware.com and try and understand them better.

Where do i get those WW , ZT and 3c , i looked at viahardware.com but couldn't find em on there.

I also tried putting Bios eactly as TT120 has , but my computer kept locking up, oh well.

Ok well i found ZT and the others , but when i clicked on em to D/L it said the server couldn't be found, and i caouldn't D/L anything. :( if someone could email me the ZT ver i'd really appreciate it. [email protected]

I sent it to your e-mail address.
Remember, flashing your bios can be risky. If something goes wrong or, if, for some reason the file I sent you is grunged (I sent you the files from the boot floppy I used to flash mine), it could render your MoBo inoperable. I've flashed my bios a few times on a few different machines with no problems but, you DO need to be aware of the danger.

i want to try to flash mine too, tt120 i would like to know your other bios settings if its ok with you, unseen menace gave me the basics of how to flash, is there anything that you could advise me about doing it? and were you using the ZT on your 1.2 ??? thanks mate

Ok, when I get home from work tonight, I'll give you the other sections of my bios. As far as flashing goes, no special advice. Just dont do it if there's a chance of the power going out like in the middle of a thunderstorm. :) I am running the ZT rev on both my machines, the 1.2 and the 1.33. Same bios settings on both.

Hey Alisport, I'm having a little Linux/Windows ME dual boot problem with my system right now, When I get it straightened out, I will post the rest of the bios settings. Just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten, rather, my system is just playing games with me right now.

hey no probs TT120, i appreciate your help, and mines playing up again too[ i think i installed some dirty software] and gotta reformat ! oh how fun are computers! goodluck with yours too mate........................................

u dudes should get a copy of norton systemworks 2001.
it will save u from having to format and reinstall windows .
it has saved me from that countless times.
and hey TT120 how come u don`t have the 4way interleave on????
it should improve the performance with it enabled.

GOD.....

4 way interleaving really helped my 3D performance a lot..... (Unreal Tourney and 3DMark2K1). Unfortunately I have CAS2 PC100 memory so it'll only run CAS2 with 4 way at 100 MHz. If I go to 133 MHz FSB I have to give up the 4 way interleaving. I think it's time for new memory.

I thought that was only if you had more than 1 stick of ram. Mebbe I'll go play with that now.

as long as u have 128meg or more it is ok to use 4way interleave.
but 256 prefered.
oh and the rams need to have a even number of rams on either side of the rams pcb.

GOD....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ok how about if you use 2 modules of different brand ram and both are different size[i.e 1 x 128 & 1 x 256]
oh and the rams need to have a even number of rams on either side of the rams pcb.
