I test just about everything I could, I don't have another MB to test the chip in. I just said screw this and called the place I ordered it from. Sent it back today. I didn't want to have to do that cuz it's costing me money to ship it and it'll be another week before I get it back. I don't think there was anything else I could do.

Thanks to everyone that tried to help, I guess there are just some things we can't fix. Even good ol duct tape failed!

hey man the freezes could be from the bios if you have ww it wasn't but the zt and yh both freeze(at first)but will clear up on their own.i kept my mouse moving during startup and tried to get into a prog. before it froze,after a dozen times it quit? can't explain it but most people who had this happen cleared it up most thinking that changing somthing in bios worked but it had no effect either way on my board.let's hope the next board won't do the same thing but it might.
