i have a new abit sh6. i can not get this thing to do anything it doesn't even know if the memory is in or not the only thing it will do is turn on the case fans. does anybody know what the hell i'm doing wrong i have tried everything but the right thing or else it would work iguess.i have tried different cpu. and a different stick of memory and still nothing i put them back in this machine and they are good enough to get on here with but not on this sh6.i need some help before this board ends up in the trash!!!!any suggestions

thanks

Make sure that CPU is in there real tight. Install it while the mainboard is on a flat, hard table. Start by taking it out and pushing the CPU in as above.

There is a red LED light at the corner of the SH6. If it doesn't light up, the board is probably dead or not getting power. Also what CPU are u using? I think u need to remove a jumper if u are using a non-coppermine. I have 2 SH6 and they seem to be very good boards. Only gripe is an incompatibility issue with Adaptec 29 and 39 series cards.
