What should the bank SDRAM timing settings be set at in the bios.
The default is SDRAM 10 ns. Anybody experiment with these settings to see which are best.
The choices are SDRAM 10 ns, SDRAM 8ns, normal, medium, fast, turbo.
Turbo will get you the best preformance....But if your memory cant keep up, your system may be a little unstable..
then you would have to fall back onto fast, then medium, normal
I have wondered about that too! So I played around a little and found that I saw no difference when the bios is set to auto detect. It only seems to matter if you manualy set your mem settings. If you are using a lower fsb setting (less than 123) try setting your mem to HLCk+33 it makes a lot of difference even with CL3 memory.
