A frined of mine is getting a VP6 and wants to throw two chips in there cooled by PEP66...Anyone know if the board has the real-estate to accomadate these puppies?

If I remeber right Tim has two PEP66s on his VP6. But I think he had to turn the shroud :(

I have 2 VP6's and both are running PEP66's on both cpus. The shrouds need to be turned for vertical mounting, and I got better cooling by reversing the fans, so that they blow into the heatsink. They work very well. There are a couple of pictures of them on my website under "my cpu project" at http://paynecomm.dtdns.net .

Hey Tim-,

I'm looking into getting a VP6 board and a couple 700e chips (CO), how is that set up working for you?

Would you do something different, or get a different board/chip/ect.

I'd rather hear from someone who has the set up, then find out I'd be better off with something else after I've put money into the board and chips, ect, hehe.

Thanks,

-Trek
