But once you get it home and you read up on the forums.. you wish you had gone with the Epox or another good mobo. I was at the LA Computer fair and bought an AMD 1ghz 266mhz w/HSF and ECS K7VTA3 for $161. I haven't overclocked in the past so I wasn't really thinking of it. But now I'm wanting to get into overclocking my cpu. Well this mobo lacks the overclocking features. FSB settings of 100 or 133 that is it
So looks like I'm going to be buying a new mobo soon
So for all you bargin hunters, stop hunting and fork out the extra money. You'll be happy in the long run.
Now a few questions.
Anyone have this board?
I'm having alittle trouble, I guess you could call it trouble.
In the bios I have my AGP slot set to 4x
my software for my Geforce 2 GTS reads only 1x
if I set the AGP slot to 1x in the Bios, in the software I can set it to 4x
I can't really notice any difference in performance in my games at any of these settings.
Can anyone give some info on this?
And beware bargin hunters
