Action Center Help

Ok this is my moms pc so no idea what she may of done but the action center is listed as on but greyed out and not working, now how would I go about getting it back on. This isnt life or death but id like to get it working if we can. I changed themes as I found a post saying that could cause it and ive set stuff to default but no luck. She has Mcaffee, Malwarebytes and CCleaner running, could it be one of them? Also dual monitors if that might cause it also.

And? If it works, it works! Have you tried whatever you came across?

yes ive tried everything ive found so far.... been at it for a few hrs today.

I got it.... only took all morning to get it fixed.. If anyone ever runs into this I used this post to fix mine Action Center issue. I had to enable witch really means hide reboot and disable(show or normal) reboot and then all was good again. Found it from a comment on a YouTube video.

Don't necessarily take all of Action Center's suggestions as something you ought to do. For instance, it may tell you to enable Smartscreen which is not something I want to do. It may tell you to enable Windows fire wall when your antivirus is using it's own firewall. Be discerning.
