I have an Antec 1080 case with the insides pretty much full of tubes and cords. I fit everything in there, including the eheim 1048 pump, D-Tek heatcore, with a shroud and 120m fan. The fan is pulling air out of the radiator, and it is at the bottom front of my case. I have two Panaflo L1As on the rear of my case.

Currently it is 20c (!) in my room. My case is 30c. That's 10c difference, and that is horrible. Would adding another shroud and 120mm fan on the back of my radiator (blowing air ONTO) make a difference? Or should I change my two panaflos for somehing else?

Thanks

Summary: Two rear 80mm L1A fans, one radiator with one 120mm fan sucking, not blowing near the bottom front of my case.

basicly whats happening is that hot air is circulating inside your case and never really get out as fast. What u need to do is either add an extra exaust fan or change ur current exaust fan with a stronger one and try to put them as high as possible (hot air goes up, cold air goes down)
thats why u see with most manufac. computers only have a strong exaust fan and nothing else, gravity is more or less free so its not a bad idea to use it :)

What are you CPU temps? You shouldn't be worried about a 30C case temp, that is fine.

42c idle. that may seem bad, but I run my 1700+ throughbred B at 2.00 volts, and is running at 2260mhz which is the reason why it is so hot.

My case always used to be only 2-5c higher than room temperature. 10 seems really bad.

The Antec 1080 normally has two slots for 80mm fans on the back.. would there be a way to take both of those slots off and somehow fit a 120mm on there?

i run 2400mhz always below 40c @ idle, but before i doubled the exaust and sealed the sides of my case with foam, the temps were over 50c even at 2300 or 2200 after about an hour of use. Plus when i opened my case it felt like opening an oven!
um.. yea i have the same case, same problem.
i just got 3 35cfm fans all going out. don't u have a side panel fan? you should make that as exause too
those little slot fans work too.. and they're quiet
