Advice on 2nd build

Yup that should be a good build for you. I personally would swap the 500w corsair for the EVGA Supernova NEX 750w though.

However it'd be wiser to sell the first 280 and get a 970 or something. Xfire on 2 lesser cards is more headaches than its worth. I've always said you SLI/Xfire when you already have the BEST but you just need MOAR POWAAA!

Update:

I order all the parts at 1pm on 11/24/14 and received all parts by 2pm on 11/25/14 (only selected 3 day business). I assembled the build yesterday, and everything came up fine. I have been playing around with it a little in between Thanksgiving meals. Processor currently stable at 4.4 GHz at 46-51°C with full load; for over 1 hour.

I'd go with the CX600 over the 500 just to be happy with that build.
