Similar to the newbies to this board posting advice for thier new box, I need some advice/sugestions for my new system I plan to bring to college. I'm trying to get a fast/stable system at an affordable price.. So far i am thinking of the following system.
Mobo - Epox 8k7a+ (w/ raid)
CPU - AMD 1.33 AXIA (AYHJA Core)
Mem- Crucial 256 pc2100
Vid - MSI Geforce 2 Pro 64 mb
Sound - Philips Acoustic Edge
HD - 2 X 30 gb 7200 maxtor running in 0 raid
using my plextor 12/10/32 a...
might buy a cheap dvd
So how does everyone feel about that box... I am new to overclocking but i would like to oc that cpu to 1400 or 1500... if anyone can respond with suggestions or opinions of the above hardware that would be great.. and if anyone could point me in the right direction for info/instuctions on overclocking that would be great too... Thanks guys
