So, here is the simple version:
I have Kingston ValuRAM 1333mhz and CL9.

Would I be better off running it at 1600mhz with 10-11-11 timings and 1.55v or at 1200mhz 7-7-7 timings at 1.4v?

I would expect on p55 That 1600 would be preferable over tighter timings. But that is a HUGE difference, especially running 1200 MHz and less volts.

I am sure you can pull 7-7-7 1600 if you up the voltage a bit.

What do the ICs say on them? Figure out what chips they are and you can google that to find out what tweaking you can expect out of them.
