This chair rocks.

I saw this http://www.dack.com/misc/aeron.html

and got a little bit worried, well, nonsense. Either they were being completely overdramatic or the chair has been revisioned extensively.

The pellicle is not rough at all, it almost feels like fishing wire, not at all coarse or abrasive.

The lumbar support is excellent and does a job.

The adjustments are excellent, I can adjust all sorts of things I didn't even really know about, they aren't that hard to adjust AT ALL. You can adjust the armrests while sitting down.

I really like the tilt limiter, the chair will tilt back like most chairs, but this one you can decide how far back you want the chair to lean, sometimes a chair will tend to lean too far back, or be too hard to get leaning, this solves all that.

I would not get the basic, only the fully adjustable, totally worth it. I didn't get the posturefit, but I might.

I paid $500+80 for the chair from www.allaboutyouroffice.com These chairs are slightly used.(I noticed a tiny thread of the seat part sticking out) but for 33% off, it's absolutely worth it.

I recommend this chair for everyone! :D

hhahaha, the demo videos on that site (first link) are quite entertaining.

I got my chair at a garage sale. It has no lumbar support or arm rests, but I love it. DOesn't even go up half way my back.

While that is a cool looking chair, I would rather buy another folding comp or two than spend $580 on a chair.

Suit yourself, the chair is as much of the computer as the monitor, desk, mouse, or case, if you use your computer for more than 2 hours a day, or buy more than two chairs for yourself in your life, this chair is worth it.

Alot of people underestimate the importance of peripherals. I see people running the latest and greatest hardware and still have crappy chairs, mice, monitors, speakers, etc.
The thing with peripherals is they last a heck of a lot longer so you don't need to upgrade them and can enjoy them for a while.

I myself have an Aeron knock-off chair which is the most comfortable chair I've ever had. The mesh is just awesome in the hot summer.

My next great computer chair is going to be a recliner :)

I am goingto mount my monitors on adjustable swing arms so I can pull them up in front of me :) In the interim I will keep using my $50 dolalr wal mart chair and a toolbox for a foot rest :(

In an office setting though that would not be prudent I suppose

Nice looking chair

My uncle has that chair, it's so awesome! It's just a frame with tensioned elastics almost, so it puts no stress on your body.

Interesting you bring that up, the way this chair is designed a footrest is necessary, they always are but the feeling is more obvious here.

Is there anything wrong with a toolbox? I'd been using a toolbox like item, the only thing I see different is that a toolbox is tall and square, and this is low and angled.

I think I'd prefer the tall box.

...And yes, those videos are hilarious, especially the first one.

I still <3 my lumbar support.
