after fitting a pelt

hi all

after fitting a peltier to my water system ........seti driver will no longer run .....(not sure why that is !!!)

ive deleted and reinstalled it .....but when i goto set up...

spy opens with the driver .........then the driver quits ends prog ...
with the spy still running .....

im useing clc and been running fine until i added the pelt ???? makes no sence !

no seti


EDIT baisic i cant get the driver to run ....it just turns off ....

found out why

hi all

i have solved th problem it must have been the tec .....

if you double click on spy / client / configure / client control....

it then says stop client when cpu reaches xx degrees....

i just stoped this..........and all is well ......puter reading 5c now .......

everything ok now running seti again

Glad you figured it out. That sounded pretty odd to me too.

that is strange, how low was the temperature setting for when to turn off seti? or was it just a bug in the software that came out due to the low temps?

I assume that the software bugged out when it saw those temps, figured the temp sensor was frying or something.

makes sense. just curious, does seti-spy have a feature that will kill seti processing when a computer is on battery power?
