I was over at a different forum, and I happened to run across a thread which says that the Ageia Runtime Engine actually increases gaming performance, even if you don't have the Ageia PPU. Has anyone ever heard of this?

They were reporting increases of FPS of 10-15. That's a lot in my book. I'll be trying this tonight.

I skimmed through the posts. Looks like that the software does is relegate the Physics processing to your CPU, in a (perhaps) more efficient manner?

Just think... instead of buying a PPU you can just use the software to offload the physics to one of your spare CPU Cores... Someone with a Quad should try this in Oblivion.
