I'm putting together a new system - A7N8X, Win2K3, 9600 AIW. Everything seems ok except when I run dxdiag, under the Display tab, AGP Texture Acceleration is not available. I think it should be. 8X is enabled in the Bios. All the drivers are installed, probably too many since I installed the whole disc.

I haven't had a chance to install any games yet but this seems like a problem. Any advice appreciated.

had the same problem with my new system, then I installed VIA Chipset 4 in 1 driver. Make sure that you install drivers for the motherboard chipset. Check out the the website for the lastest.

I think I did that already but I'll try again. Thanks.

... a little time passes ...

Comes back with a big smile. Well, that did it. Sort of. I went to the Asus site but already had the latest drivers. But there was a message that their drivers were more recent than the ones on the nVidia sige. So I figured I'd try the older nVidia drivers and installed them. It is now fixed. I wonder what else got broken?

Thanks again.
