I was talking to Dissolved about that about when it happend. I have regular AOL (LAN connection:) ), and mine was acting all weird but I was still connected. And he wasn't. And you are right, only hard core overclockers could POSSIBLY be up THIS early. :)

LMAO, nice one..
www.aol.com and aim.com were also down for a few hours..
so either they went down on purpose, or they may have been dos attacked.

well if i remember my time tables right there going to a all atdn network soon ( no more of what ever the old protocol was) effectivly cutting all there compation out of there networks

so when the judge says share they can say the cant becuase there not compatable with there networks

also you get alot of outages about 4 weeks after xmas becuase thats when cisco clears there inventory and about 4 weeks to install it all and then you got to switch the cords and that gets allllllllll messed up

you have nooooooooooo idea how big just one of these places is

i wish i took some pictures when i worked there

Yeah, and it's easy to see that when you have both an AIM and an ICQ account set up on a multi service client like Trillian. If one goes down, they *both* go down. Right irritating, that is....especially when your other choices are MSN and Yahoo.
