AIW 9800SE causes BIOS to display slow

I got an 9800SE AIW a few days ago and noticed that it causes the BIOS to display really slow, the lines of text on POST like scan in one by one and if I enter the set-up menu it scans in ALL the text/borders on screen.

What could be causing this?

Decided to scrap the 9800SE and plan on buying an 9800XT, just in case anyone read this...I'd still like to know why this particular card displays the BIOS like this though...
