AK35GTR with the Thermalright AX-7?

Does anyone know if the Thermalright AX-7 heatsink, with an 80mm x 25mm Thermaltake Smart Fan, will fit on the AK35GTR board?

It should fit cuz I have an Alpha 8045 and it fits fine...

yeah, it'll definitely fit . . . that's what i have on my ak35 right now, albeit with a different 80 mm fan.

What is your experience with the AX-7?

Does it live up to the reviews, which have the heatsink as a top performer?

I know that my mileage will vary depending on which fan I use, I decided on the Thermaltake Smart Fan due it its variable speed. I don't know if I can take the +50 dBA of the Delta fans. If it does suck, it can always be replaced.

BTW, which fan are you using?

it's great! this thing cools like there's no tomorrow . . . haha, i'll post some actual temps one of these days . . . i just got this thing in with my new mobo, so i'm still installing stuff and getting it hooked up. i had delta fan on there, but it was just too loud . . . now i put an antec 80mm case fan on, it's doing alright . . . i think i'm gonna grab a panaflo or something like that . . . i'm not sure yet. i'm not pushing it yet, so i'm kind a taking my time . . .
