This time it's not EA with ****e about scrapping Colonial Marines which looked dam good from what I saw of it. But SEGA and 20th Century Fox are in the works to create the film adaption to games maybe change it a little I don't know. But I love Aliens the movie the best one cause of the Sentry Guns I'm going to watch it now see ya.

Cool! alien vs. predator was one of the earlier games I played that creeped me out playing in the dark....the Marines mission's where erie.

I have Aliens Vs. Predator 2 for PC I got it for £5 I know what you mean about scary there's a mission where the rest of the squad are in a APC. And you have to stay outside and open each security door to let it drive through killing Aliens along the way. They come crashing through doors starting banging at air vents and stop you think there gone then they burst through the windows.

AvP 2 was sweet. First one was damn good as well but definatly the second was better.

Suprisingly for being based off movies I'd have to say this is defaintly one of the best movies that became a game. Hmm might have to look and see where I got my copy now.

I remember playing AvsP 2 at lans with my friends and it was a really sweet game, didn't do much of the single player but it was cool too. I hope a new version does come out, because with some good graphics it would be awesome.

IIRC, the games they're making are not based on the movies, but on the franchise itself. No Ripley, no Bishop etc.

What remains to be seen is how well they will manage to adapt the Alien universe to video games. IIRC, the previous adaptations have been anything but stellar.

And Angelfire, you're absolutely right. Aliens was the absolute best out of the four films they released. It's my very favourite :)

Well not exact movie copy but if you know what I mean, as the ideas came from the movie.

Aliens then Alien where the best movies... The rest is trash film wise

Yes, of course.

And while Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection weren't great, they at the very least have their place. Alien Resurrection was saved by Ron Pearlman and Garry Dourdan, I think. They really carried the movie, more so than Ripley 8.

I didn't like Resurrection it took me ages to figure out how they cloned her I can't remember wasn't it from a finger nail or something. But it really stuffed the series at first I thought how the hell did they clone her with the ALien inside. Which makes me laugh as it manages to be a Queen type alien no way could they of got her DNA and the Alien's all from whatever they got it from.

Alien 3 was alright 50/50 but Aliens was proper awsome marines thinking it was an easy job and they get wiped out within seconds. Alien was good gave life to a new type of killing machine but Aliens goes up there in my collection as 1 of the best Sc-Fi movies ever.
