On the way home one day, its raining and i pass a computer outside. I went over not knowing what it was, picked it up and damn it was heavy. Back of the vehicle it went, let it dry off for 2 days. Go to power it up and nothing happens, not even shorting the power button pins. Was able to get a replacement motherboard for a decent price, took about a week to get. Got everything swapped, looked at the old board, there is some kind of fluid on the back. Everything with the new board powers up and into bios we go! I start watching the cpu temps start to climb and going, fan ramps up and up! Powered it off since they used a AIO in there, i think the pump is dead. No problem Thermalright to the rescue, with the PA120 that has 2011-3 mounting. waiting for the to come in to see how temps are on this 5820k, though i was to slap in a 6900k(8C/16T)/6950k(10C/20T) OR GO BIG with a E5-2699A v4 (22C/44T). Leaves options but that xeon on ebay is going for about $350, i may settle on getting the 6900k since its closer to around $150. Then max out the ram with some low cas DDR4-3200 or 3600 ram. I hear people already typing away, NEED PICTURES! LOL, i know i need too.
