And I haven't even built my first one yet :)
I'd like a seperate box with an full size car radiator, cooled by this fan http://www.comairrotron.com/dcfans/CaravelDC.htm and hoses connected to the main case with "quick connectors" (or what ever those snap on/snap off things are called), and a Gemini or Maze3 waterblock with a 172W or 226W peltier :)
I'm thinking I'm getting way ahead of myself now :)

Sounds cool, ever think of getting one of those cube cases? You could put all of your cooling stuff in one side, and have the computer stuff in the other side,=.

Yes, my head's been spinning in that direction too :) (Building my own aluminium cube)
But right now, the most important thing is to get the first one built, and I'm on a budget.

i think with a fan like that a cube would be optimal if the rad would fit. I would much rather get some measurements and see because IMO it would be better than two boxes to move around.

A car radiator would be hard to fit unless I made my own custom case. The depth of the box with the fan and radiator would only have to be the combined depth of the fan, radiator and shroud. I would also get by with just one fan, since the air would be sucked through the radiator at one end, and immediately expelled at the other end, all by the same fan.

If your on a budget you should make both of the cases out of plexiglass :D It'll look cool, and probably cost you under $100 total for both cases.

The idea is novel, I'll give ya that but a car radiator is not going to cool any better than room temp so why use it? You can get room temp from a small setup. Just curious. Why dont you use a car radiator and put pelts all on the side tanks! NOW THAT WOULD COOL!
