I just ordered some xp1600 and they came green I read that the green ones with the L5 bridge already cut wont work in smp is this true? Please tell me it will or is there a way?

You have to connect them with some sort of conductive material. I don't think the whether it's a greenie or a brownie matters.

All Xp cpu´s since 6 months or so has been MP disabled. This is a very easy mod though, just a dot of silver paint and you´re done.

Mine are green and working fine.... (I did have to connect the L5 bridge, but they work fine...)
