I just wanted to see if anyone has had issues with Amazon recently.

In the ~15 years of using them, I rarely had a problem aside from shipping taking the additional day or so. But in the past two weeks, I've had two orders that showed in stock, then kept getting delayed until they just flat out asked if I wanted to cancel.

Nothing big, just some LED bulbs and a small air purifier.

I only had that happen once. JBL buds, they kept pushing the date back and finally asked if I would cancel. This was around this last Black Friday. Another time, a shipping item simply stopped getting updates and I cancelled it eventually.

Not with Amazon business at least. We've ordered several thousand (10s of??) $ worth over the past couple of months, but stuff has been constantly arriving outside of a stray or two. Nothing like you've experienced though.

They are usually pretty good with me too. If anything, I get stuff early rather than late. They have a distribution center about 10 minutes away.

Same. I've actually started having stuff delivered to my office, as the local warehouse is just a block over.

(It's actually why I hate gassing up our fleet trucks. If I get to the local gas station between 4 and 7, I'm stuck waiting behind a line of Amazon vans...)

I have a brand new warehouse literally 20 minutes away driving distance, so I get all my orders pretty quick or within a reasonable time frame :p

Amazon is supposed to be opening a new data center near me, actually same block as their warehouse. Hopefully that means the gigabit internet I've been paying for can actually break 500mbps

I wish I had something better than Rectum (Spectrum)

Only issues I've had with Amazon is that every now and then the delivery guy/gal decides that a big package can fit on a small letter box, so we get crumpled packages. Nothing broken so far, but...

I've had a few issues like this peppered throughout the past year or so, site showing items in stock but then 2-10 days go by without any movement or status updates and then finally receiving the "your order has been delayed" and given the option to cancel for a refund or offered another product. This has only happened a few times when the seller was listed as Amazon, and nearly every time when it was a third-party seller on their site.

I try not to order from sellers other than Amazon as you don't get nearly the "safe" shopping experience you would from buying through Amazon directly (especially if you need to return the item, HAH glwt) but sometimes there's no choice unless I want to pay WAY more locally. I also won't buy from third parties for time sensitive items because who knows when it will actually ship, unless it says it's shipped from Amazon, then there's usually nothing to worry about.
