What are you buying?

So far, haven't seen anything I needed....but a $50 Ring doorbell (to replace my annoying Arlo units) is enticing though.

That is today is it not. Spend spend$$$$$;)

I'm trying not to buy a 4TB SSD. 990 Pros sold out already, but there's still SN850X available. Watch me regret not getting them later.

This is what I got in emails from Crucial. It's for Amazon UK, but for the US, it should be too. At least you have the list of items with a lowered price to browse from:

  • Crucial T700
  • 1TB - £129.99 (original price £214.49)
  • 2TB - £219.99 (original price £399.59)
  • Crucial P3 Plus
  • 2TB - £104.99 (original price £251.99)
  • Crucial X9
  • 1TB - £63.29 (original price £113.99)
  • 2TB - £105.07 (original price £190.79)
  • Crucial X10 Pro
  • 1TB - £98.99 (original price £147.59)
  • 4TB - £274.99 (original price £437.99)
  • Crucial DDR5-6000 Overclocking edition memory
  • 32GB kit (2x 16GB sticks of memory) - £89.99 (original price £157.19)

Acer/Predator price drop for GM7000 series SSD 1/2/4TB:
I can't find the price drop on Amazon UK

Actually ended up just grabbing one and the solar charger. Have until Saturday to figure if I actually want them.

One "complaint" in my apartment is there's the front door, a balcony, and then an inner door actually leading into my apartment.

It's nice because I can have a few plants on the balcony so I see something green when I first walk out, and there's that security of having essentially two doors someone has to kick in. Yes I'm paranoid.

But whenever someone is actually at my door, there's maybe only a one in three shot they'll ring the doorbell. They see a knocker and they'll knock, which i can't hear.

Actually had delivery guys call or text all indignant. "You're supposed to be home." S*** I am, did you ring the bell? It's the pretty button right at eye level. Is it easier to text than ring?

Ok I may be turning into a boomer.

But...I just want something to show if someone's at *my* door and not downstairs, because they sound the same when someone knocks.

I'm searching for cheap RECC DDR4 RAM, but sadly, there are no price cuts for server stuff. Everything that I found at a lowered price is unavailable, or the expected shipping is in 2-3 months. I still have 2-3 weeks to find something.

My wife bought an Apple Watch 9th gen yesterday to replace her failing Fitbit. It was a really good price for a new one, actually less than a refurb.

My son's birthday was a few days ago and waited to shop the sales. Bought like.... 8 things......none of which were on sale.

I ended up not getting anything though there was a lot that was tempting. I didn't need anything and have other higher goals in mind (that dual 4K monitor...................................)

I bought a combo pack of water and air filters for my new fridge. I also got one of my Granddaughters an RC sub to use in the pool that they go to quite often.

Lucky...

I just got my mom one for Mother's Day. She'll try to get out daily for some air and complained about carrying her iPhone everywhere. Got her a 9th gen Watch so can both listen to music and still have a "phone" without needing to carry her phone. She likes it so far.
