AMD 2600 on Asus A7N8X Deluxe
I am new to the AMD world, and I am trying to bring my CPU up to optimal speed. I am currently at 1.24GHz with and AMD 2600 on a Asus A7N8X Deluxe MB.

I have tried adjusting some settings such as Aggressive but I can't seem to get the right combo. Does anyone have any suggestions or guidelines as to how to correctly set the cpu speed, voltage, etc.

First of all, do you know if you have a Athlon XP 2600+ Barton, or Thoroughbred? Eitherway, in your bios, look for the Advanced Chipset menu. Select Auto for your CPU Front Side Bus, and multiplier. Also do this for your memory. Then save and reboot. That should bring your processor to its default speed.
